| Biography & Thoughts | I'm a fishing "Bum", which is something to be esteemed or not, depending upon your persuasion... Have been for more than 40 years. While it may be argued that fly fishing 75 days a year or more (my wife keeps track) over that span has effected my ability to achieve in other fields of human endeavor, I can't complain because I've managed to raise a family and fish all over this continent. Guiding, tying flies professionally, and other piscatorial pursuits are all part of who I am, and I wouldn't change a thing. As to my thoughts (philosophy), my forum signature captures it best, Though I would add this quote: "Authorities darken council. An Authority is a person engaged in the invidious business of stereotyping and disseminating information, frequently incorrect...
