This species is uncommonly collected except from wells. It is a hyporheic species living in the river gravels of river floodplains until it is ready to emerge.
The head shape is an important identifier.
This stonefly was collected from the Flathead River-upper on April 15th, 2010 and added to Troutnut.com on June 26th, 2011.
