Hey everyone. New guy on the block here. My name is Daniel and I live in SW Wyoming. I am a HS teacher and work in the summer/weeks as a fly fishing guide. Anyone from my neck of the woods here?

Welcome, Daniel. Sounds like a great life. What do you teach? I don't know if we have anyone from your neck of the woods on the forum, but after looking at the fish you posted, I'm considering moving up there.

Hey Daniel, from one teacher to another, brother! I teach Intro Biology, and during the summer Field Biology, up here at Alpena Community College, and get to live in trout-fishing country myself, though my small-stream trout aren't nearly as large as your big-river bruisers there. Welcome to the site, you'll learn a lot, probably teach at least a little, and have a lot of FUN on here. Feel free to post pics anytime, it's always fun to see what our fellow Troutnuts are catching (and on what exactly). See my latest post...

No matter how big the one you just caught is, there's always a bigger one out there somewhere...

Hi Daniel,

Welcome to Troutnut and the Forum! Great bunch of guys here too. I can't say for sure but I believe many of the forum contributors are from east of the Mississippi.
