Need advice on sea trout fishing

California Posts: 1	I have Shimano Baitrunner Aero GT 8010 XT-7 fishing reel. I have been using it for bass plugging and spinning. Just wondering would this reel be OK for sea trout fishing as well? I also purchased 15 lb braid because I read somewhere that braided line is better than mono. I have been using Ed Schliffke Rockhopper bass plugger rod. Would this combination of rod and reel be OK for sea trout? I am new to angling, so any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks..
