Back in the late 60’s thru 1978 we fished the lower Nerversink at Oakland Valley. Caught a number of nice browns and rainbows. Idea to fish the area came from Ray Bergman. In his book Trout he mentioned fishing in Oakland Valley by the bridge. Now I think a new bridge crosses over to a camp ground.
Beautiful water but probably all private today. Never made it up to the gorge area.
Any update would be fun to read.
Thx.

Hey, I come out to Mahwah NJ every year from Bozeman MT to visit my in-laws and this year i get a hall pass for the day (fathers day). I am willing to drive to the Neversink Gorge but i have no idea where to really go. So anyone out there know that area? Help a brother from MT and the favor will be returned should any of you make it out to this area.
