I was on the lower end of the Yellow Breeches yesterday afternoon and saw around a dozen Hendricksons. The water was quite low for April 07. I saw just one rise. I also saw a bunch of caddis but was unable to catch any to identify it.

Nice to hear Matt...I'm heading towards Grayling here near the end of the month and I'm crossing my fingers that I might find them up there when I get there.

I got a screaming deal on a Winston BIIIX 9' for 5wt a friend won in a raffle and decided to part with it...I'd like to give it a go for Opening Day weekend. :)

How far is it for you to travel from home to the YB?

Spence

Some little birdies over that way have already sent me emails letting me know of the arrival of the Hennies...I fished the Yellow Breeches a couple Aprils ago. At Allendale I think it was...We had your famous Grannoms then.

Spence, it is only about thirty-five minutes from my driveway to the bait stretch I like to fish. Estheticly it is not the nicest spot. There is a secondary road paralleling it, and you get some road noise but it has the best Hendrickson emergence I've ever seen other than on the Delaware. The lower end of the YB is all stocked fish.

The stretch you fished is called "Allenberry" but considering you only fished it one time you aren't expected to remember all the names.
