Muskegon River - places to stay

Fenton, MI. Posts: 51	Anyone know of any fishing lodges or accomodations right on the Muskegon ?? I can find VRBO's and an (apparently now permanently closed) lodge on the river but nothing else. Would appreciate any first-hand info. Thanks ! Brian

Bancroft, Michigan Posts: 23	It’s been along time since I’ve fished the Mighty Mo, I fished below Croton dam. There used to be a motel in Croton itself. But really don’t remember seeing much else, but then again it’s been 30 years. Where do you want to fish? I look around a bit. Mike.

Fenton, MI. Posts: 51	To tell you the truth Mike, I'm not sure - I've never fished the Muskegon but I understand there are not only trout, but pike and smallies as well. That is the attraction for me. I was looking for a place on the water - similar to Gates. Louis - thanks for the info - that place looks promising ! :-)
