Posts: 103		Sweet stream!, did you manage to catch any fish in that flat clear stretch in the second picture, that looks like some spooky water! Is that in new york?

Posts: 134		Hi Tim yes I managed to catch 2 out of that pool (both small). I was using 6X leader/7X tippet. The first one I cast from about 40 ft below the pool -- all my fly line was on dry creekbed. The second I didnt cast at all-- just dropped my fly on the other side of that boulder.

The stream is Big Sur River in California.
