Manasquan, NJ Posts: 1	Ill be in Gilboa, NY mid August and I'm not familiar with the area. Any suggestions for trout fishing streams in the area?

York & Starlight PA Posts: 2733	Sorry Dave I am totally unfamiliar with the area. Maybe some other forum members can help you out. I'll do a little research and see what comes up. Google Earth indicates you will be very close to the Scoharie Reservoir and Scoharie Creek. I don't know how the water levels will be in August but the Scoharie Creek is where the famed fly fisher Art Flick fished often and where he developed many of the flies he put in his book "Streamside Guide". I would try Googling "Fly fishing Scoharie Creek".
