Hey everyone , just a quick post to just say it's a privilege to be here and I really love the posts . I'm not to great with introductions however I'm Kevin from sunny South Africa and I think I was born with a fly rod In my hand ????, basically fly fished competivley for 4 years for my home province and been invited twice for junior protea trials. I'm a bit older in college now but the love for the sport never died . We recently began a YouTube channel to help get the sport noteriety and to just say to the general public how wrad fly fishing can be .If you're interested go take a look at uncharted fly fishing ????.

Welcome, Kevin, That's quite a beast in your photo. Could you tell us a bit about it? Taken on the fly?

That beautiful 90kg specimen was caught in a mountainous lake in phuket Thailand. I was using a 12wt guide series and a rio tarpon intermediate line . Funnily enough I used a self tied whistler quite common for Tigerfish but I just supersized it ha ha .
