Riverbank clean-up

Tyrone, Pa. Posts: 5	We will hold our 5th annual streambank and roadside clean-up on the Little Juniata River on Saturday, April 10th. Meet at the Spruce Creek United Methodist Church at 9 am. In addition to keeping the river a little more beautiful, we thank and invite all the landowners who we are indebted to, for allowing public access. We also make a standing offer to all "j" bank owners to clean-up any and all trash left on their property. With enough volunteers, we will extend our clean-up miles once again, including all the waters between Bellwood and the Frankstown Branch (more than 20 miles). It's a good opportunity to give a little back and to see stretches on the "j" you never new existed. Last year we had over 100 people show up. Bill - LJRA

Altoona, pa Posts: 5	Marked it on my calander. Hopefully will be able to attend this year. I never usually hear about it until a couple days before and usually had plans. Now this year I got a heads up.
