Blue Ridge, GA fishing?

Posts: 8	I'll be visiting some family just north of Atlanta soon and was thinking about fishing some of the rivers in Blue Ridge. I've seen some pictures online of some huge fish, but I also hear they're all pellet fed and it's not real fishing. I don't know about you, but to me a big fish is a big fish - ha! Has anybody fished there before? Any recommendations? Is it worth the money to hire a guide?

Moderator Palmyra PA Posts: 3233	I think it's often well worth it to hire a guide, especially for new water. I'd fish the Toccoa if I ever had the chance. The Soque and Noontootla also look like good spots to land a big fish. And I'd hire a guide for sure on any of these. If you go, let us know how it went.
