Boasting is an important part of a proper fisherman's website. Look at all the big trout I've caught! Well, okay. Some of them were caught by friends. And family. And some of them weren't caught at all, but now that I know my way around a camera I can take pictures of them anyway.

This 18" brown smashed my
Isonychia nymph at the head of a nice pool right at dusk.

One of the best casts I've ever made rewarded me with this 18 inch brown on a size 16 foam beetle. I had to drop a backhand sidearm curve cast across the gathering current in the tail of a pool to place the beetle over the large, skittish trout rising sporadically against a log across the river. It was more luck than skill, but rewarding nonetheless.
