Posts: 12		I picked up Kelly Galloup's nymph indicator line to match the 10.5' 7wt single hand fly rod I use for Steelhead. The rivers I fish don't allow much room for back casts, so roll casts are the norm. I fish nymph/egg patterns under an indicator about 90% of the time. I have been looking online to find a leaded formula for this setup, but with no luck.... Does anyone have a "Leader Formula" for such a setup?? I would like to tie my own...

Posts: 2733		I fish pretty much exclusively trout beads and nymphs under an indicator for Great Lakes steelhead and have no trouble roll casting 40' - 45' with one or two BB's, a fly or two, and the indicator. I use an off the shelf Rio 7.5' 3X to which I tie a tippet ring and 2' of 4X. I think the line selection is far more important than the leader. I use SA WF#7F Nymph/Indicator with a 10' rod.
