Posts: 5I have a 9’ 4wt. rod that I’ve been fishing lakes and mountain streams with. Really enjoying the mountain streams with this rod but feel ill-equipped for fishing streamers and dry flies on the lake. Any suggestions for rod specs for lake fishing for trout?

I’ve been looking into LLBean rods and Orvis, but would love some help figuring out where to land for my next purchase! Thanks guys!

In that price range, I'd stick with an Orvis rod. Pretty good waranty, People I know that have them , love them. Beaan rods ,I don't know to much about them. Good luck.

Posts: 1I have an Orvis Clearwater Series 3wt. It's 7' 6'', I think. For about $220 I'm very happy with it. It comes with a nice case too.
