| Biography & Thoughts | I started fly fishing 30 years ago, and now am on the verge of early retirement/career change to guiding full time- spring-fall in SE Minnesota/NE Iowa, winter on St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. I like to catch and keep. The science behind catch and release is poor. Catch and keep a few fish, and then get out of the water will preserve the trout more effectively than catch and release 100 fish, killing ten. Habitat management, seasons and limits will have a real impact on increasing populations. |
