No. He was there. :) He was holding fort as usual.

Has he ever shown you his Parachute Rapala? Or his Parachute Rubber Worm? He said that Grayling Boys have been known to wrap some hackle around a spear.

He has to be one of the more messy guys around! He stands up, after a day of tying, and a half bushel basket of deer hair falls to the floor. I think he can fall asleep in the recliner at home, in front of the TV, and still tie his Hen-Winged Brown Drake Spinner! I am not kidding here...We have wondered if he's tied them in bed...

You know how some folks can't walk and chew gum at the same time? Jerry can wrap flies and talk to just about anyone passing by, 95% of them he knows, and never look down at the fly he's tying! Incredible!

It was getting dangerously deep there in front of the Author's Booth when Humphreys was in it, because Jerry was just across from it...I thought we were about to be drawn into a Black Hole of angler's BS! The universe can only take so much of this...and with me in the middle...well my head was spinning.

I am at least partially destroyed. I always thought everything Jerry said was without embellishment.....
