General Region | Central PA |
Specific Location | Penns Creek C&R water |
Time of Day | 8:30-15:00 |
Fish Caught | Four wild browns |
Conditions & Hatches | Arrived on the water to clouds of Hendrickson spinners, a fair number of March Brown spinners and a smattering of grannom caddis. Water was 51*, slightly murky (well actually a beatiful limestone green), and in the process of receeding from rains last weekend. |

Chambersburg, PA Posts: 452 | Only four risers were seen the entire day. All fish taken were on the edge of fairly heavy runs and taken on march brown wet flies. While the catching was less than stellar the wild life observed and the pure beauty of the environs made it a very enjoyable day. | |
