Well, it's finally time to move on from this place. My stupid little rodent-infested house has been bought out from under me and I have a bit less than two weeks to move out. Simultaneously, my job, which required work on Saturdays this summer because we couldn't get it all done during the week, has dried up to NOTHING FORSEEABLE for the rest of the year. So...

Moving down to Troy to help my sister sell a house that could be worth $400K. From there...?????? Not coming back up here, sick of this place now, left a bad taste in my mouth...only place in my life where I've had not one but TWO landlords run me out IN SPITE OF ALL RENT BEING PAID. This place is honestly too goddamned REDNECK for me, the "culture" around here consists of motors, beer, and deer...NOT my cup of tea. Ready to head for some nice liberal college town like Ann Arbor or...any suggestions? Nice college town with consulting jobs near some decent fishing? Anybody got a place they can recommend? I'M OUTTA HERE!!!!!

On to something better and MORE F-ING $$$$$$$!!!!!

Jonathon

P.S. Some stories coming...my work computer would not post them but now I'm @ the local library, so I'll be putting up some spring fishing trip pics I haven't posted before. Bass, panfish, and trout!

Jonathon, sorry to hear things didn’t work out for you up there. I hope you can find a place that checks all the boxes.
Mike.

We'll be rooting for you, and hoping the next gig works out. All best wishes.

Landed in Troy...still alive! Pretty beat up though...no more moving this 57-year-old by myself...when I ache a bit less I am looking forward to some fall fishing, our weather has been beautiful! Not sure what the future holds yet, that's in the planning phase...but for now, i am in a holding pattern and need to hit some agua...

Tight lines for all your fall fishing!

Jonathon
