July 1, 2010 - 9:30 AM--After a few days of warm, humid weather, we were blessed with a break.  This afforded us some time on the water. The water temperature was a good 61 degrees F, and the sky was blue dotted with groups of white clouds.  Mark and I fished this part of our “No Kill” water. To say the least, fishing is difficult in this section, and the fish were not cooperating all that well.  Mark caught only two trout, missed another, and I missed a good hit. This may be the end of our trout fishing for a while, as the “dog days” of summer set in.

Mark adds a new tippet before casting at the bridge pool.

There were plenty of hiding places to try.

The river is getting low, and hot weather is in our near future.

This is a view from up river of the bridge. We got most of our action, in the pool just above the it.
