My mom passed away, peacefully in her sleep, last night at the age of 86. In remembrance, I thought I would bring up an old Troutnut story I posted on her and Dad many years ago when they were still alive and healthy.

Yep, got my fishing prowess from somewhere...thanks Mom for all the trips "to the pond" and Sylvan Glen Lake when I was a kid. You were no slouch with a rod yourself!!!

Got more stories to tell about her fishing...
No matter how big the one you just caught is, there's always a bigger one out there somewhere...

So sorry Jonathon, our moms really are the ones who raised us, and instilled a lot of the things we love doing. Your Mother must have been very special!

Sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Where would we be without them? Your mother was a fine lady, and to take you fishing as a kid just tops it off.
