I know it's not just for us "Realistic tyers". However it is what we all are trying to accomplish.
Your simple sentence reminds us that we are one group (Fly Tyers/FlyFisherman and Women) trying to solve one puzzle, from as many different directions as our "fertile little" minds will allow.
It makes me think. It's been 600 or 800 years and we still find it an enjoyable challenge. I don't know who's winning. Them (the fish) or us. If we're not, it isn't for lack of trying or diversity.
Keep on Tying Brothers and Sisters of the Fly,
P.S. No I haven't been drinking, just feeling the satisfaction tonight of being allowed to build my life around something I care so much about.
Without all of you there would be no Fly Tying or Fly Fishing for me to be a part of.
