Since our weather is getting cold finally & is only going to get colder, I went back to the lake today. Still slow but 4 bass responded, 3 smaller ones about 10" & this fat boy! Sugar maples are lighting up out there nicely, and I came across a little black cat (hey, Halloween is coming up!) thinking it was gonna stalk this heron! Whoa there, little fella, you're WAAAY outta your league...

Good to get out! Not gonna be too many more opportunities...tight lines to all!
