Virginia trout waters can anyone help

argyle ny near saratoga Posts: 48	Next weekend August 10 I am going to Basye Va for a week vacation I would like to do some flyfishing while there I prefer medium to big waters can anyone help Basye is along interstate 81 near front royal would prefer not to travel far Thank you Todd
	IF I am not flyfishing or bird hunting I must be doing something bad like working !!

Chambersburg, PA Posts: 342	Not exceedingly familiar with the area but I think most of the trout fishing is smaller wateers in the National Park. The exchange is some pretty phenominal smallmouth fishing on the Shenandoah and it's branches. Check with Harry Murray www.murraysflyshop.com for more info. Better known trout streams of the general area include the Rapidan. John
