oh! obviously what i meant to say is that fly fishing in all its myriad parts has taken over my life. it's one of the better consuming interests ever devised: if sleep eludes me or i'm forced to wait without reading matter, i just go fishing or tie a fly or two. and even the "fish porn" (catalogues and magazines) doesn't need a plain brown wrapper.

why would one need/want a life outside fishing?
