Ok new computer means I can now access pictures from last year
I couldn't get to. I know nothing about stoneflies.

I will load may kinds and stages over the next couple of days of stoners

I have to figure how to adjust the lighting on the next set.

Hi Mack,

Sorry for the delay. Another one slipped through again. Definitely a perlid. The head is pretty sucked into the pronotum to get a very good look at the posterior margin and I never have been very good at finding anal crossveins in the folded wings of most photos. Confessions aside, I believe it belongs to the subfamily Perlinae. The dorsal markings are a good likeness for Agnetina (particularly the dark wing roots and dark pronotum) but the thoracic sterna lack the dark transverse bands diagnostic for that genus. Therefore I'm going with the similar looking Paragnetina media (Embossed Stonefly Nymph, Golden Stonefly). Don't know what to make of the genital plate at this point.

BTW - Don't forget to post size and capture dates with these submittals. Stonefly adults are measured to the end of their wings.

Shoot the rest are not to good now. I don't know anything about them.
I was collecting them for kicks so I didn't even measure them. Oh well
the larva golden stones are maybe of use.
