Articulated (jointed) streamers have become popular with some experienced fly fishermen around here and they are catching big fish with them. Could anyone share favorite patterns and ways of fishing them?

Is it not an art to deceive a trout with an artificial fly? A trout! that is more sharp-sighted than any hawk . . . and more watchful and timorous than your high-mettled merlin is bold!
