Posts: 4	Does anyone know about the quality of the Cabela's PT+ rods and their RLS reels?

Southern calif. Posts: 45	I have been fishing Cabelas Fly Rods and Reels for about 10 years now and have found there equipment to be vary nice.I own and fish Scott,Orvis,Sage name it I have used it.What I have found is that Cabelas Rods and Reels for the cost are great because you do not mind beating them up.There Reels for the price are great.I own a couple of expensive Reels and have found they are built to such close tolerances that if they get dirt in them they bind up. Where as the Cabelas Reels are not built to as high a standard so they seem to work in any condition.There drag systems work well also.They offer a line of Reels called Prestige plus mid arbor reel for around $50.00.I have 2 of them and they work great.With all that said you can see I like Cabelas Fly rods and Reels.
