| Bozeman Posts: 1 | Hey, I come out to Mahwah NJ every year from Bozeman MT to visit my in-laws and this year i get a hall pass for the day (fathers day). I am willing to drive to the Neversink Gorge but i have no idea where to really go. So anyone out there know that area? Help a brother from MT and the favor will be returned should any of you make it out to this area. | |

Several good pools are pretty close to where the trail goes near the river. Be really careful about crossing, and don't even try unless the water is pretty low. It's very slippery and fast, and deceptively deep when it's clear. If you don't cross, there are some steep bluffs you can't really get past on the near side, so you'll be limited, but you can have a fun day working the pools you can get to. | |
