Posts: 139		Anybody familiar with Farmington/Housatonic rivers? Can I get in the water this time of year or is it all ice? My wife is taking our 4 yr old skiing in Plantsville and I would love to sneak out unless it is a complete waste of time.

Posts: 2		I don't know the area at all, however, I did come across a local guide and instructor from Orvis, VT who fishes both regularly. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name. You could contact Truell Myers at Orvis to inquire.
