It use to be unheard of to see another person out fishing at these times, but not anymore." Funny you mentioned winter fishing. For years, my brother and I would fish on Christmas day in Potter County. It hasn't happened the last few years because of schedules but we never used to see anyone on the stream. People thought we were crazy. It would definitely dull the experience if we ran into a bunch of other people. It was always a special time together, maybe the only time in a year that we had the opportunity to fish together. And the solitude was part of what made it special. | |
