Good trout, both browns and rainbows, sometimes reside in the calm pockets alongside roaring rapids like these where most of the canoe traffic shoots quickly past.  Few fishermen stop to cover these areas. From the Bois Brule River, Little Joe Rapids in Wisconsin.
