The Parks is always a spectacular drive, but it was especially stunning on this drive back to Fairbanks from Homer.

I took this picture on my way home from Homer, from one of the Denali overlooks on the Parks Highway a ways north of Talkeetna. That is an amazing drive at all times of year, and spring is no exception. The highest, most distant mountain visible is Denali / Mount McKinley, while the rest of the Alaska Range rises over the Chulitna River in the foreground. From Parks Highway in Alaska.
