This huge pile of stones was deposited alongside a very small brook trout stream in a huge flood about 9 months before this photo was taken.
I photographed this cedar waxwing from the canoe as we passed by it.
A 20-inch brown jumps at the end of my dad's fly line, but the picture quality isn't the best. He could just as easily be shaking his fist at a beaver.
Here's a nice view of the Alyeska Pipeline from the highway.
I took some neat underwater pictures of salamander larvae in this pool a few weeks earlier.
