Time Of Year (?): May to June in the southern Appalachians
This species can be important in the southern Appalachian states. LaFontaine lists it as only existing in the East in Caddisflies but Swisher and Richards list it from the East, Midwest, and West in Selective Trout, probably reflecting more recent discoveries.
